The color blue is a rare color in nature, a blue bird, a blue flower; a blue jellyfish...My body of work for this show explored the spectrum of blue somewhere within Newton’s color spectrum, and when research threw up the fact that Goethe’s questioning of color took us beyond Newtonian physics to the realms and vagaries of human perception, the color blue took on new and fascinating meanings for me. Perhaps the blue you see is not the blue I see…
